Listen to your Kids
Marches. Shootings. Uncertain income. Sickness. Nothing seems normal.
If these things sound familiar to adults right now, imagine what they are doing inside the heads of children.
As parents, how do we reign in the scary and openly talk about what it happening?
If we lived in a perfect world, these would be the least of our parenting concerns.
But 2020 has brought so much stuff to the forefront, it’s hard enough for an adult.
If I may offer some tips:
· Be available for your kids. Put all distractions aside and talk to them.
· Listen closely.
· Watch them for signs of internal struggles.
